Still no HOI 1.3 out...
 

It's been a fair amount of months (!) since Paradox has started pumping out patches for their Hearts of Iron grand strategy game, but nobody seems to have taken the time to mingle with those to create a no-CD.

Only no-CD for v.1.00 is there and the game is practically unplayable if not patched at least to 1.2 (1.3 recommended, 1.1 is a waste of time).

Please, pretty please, and with lots of topping and cherries and all... someone work on HOI 1.3 for a no CD.

i thought tht patches above version 1.1 doesn´t include
cd-checks anymore ???

Doesn't gamecopyworld have a no-cd .exe file?

Definitely not... I do check GCW out every day, it has only v.1.0 and 1.0 is so buggy, it's completely unplayable.

Okay, it was IronStorm that I was looking. Sorry, my mistake!

The Scandinavian version's patch of HoI doesn't include CD check, and it's perfectly good for every other version.

Scandinavian version doesn't go with North American or other region version.
So if he hasn't the Scandinavian version of the game. He can't install that.

I've installed the Scandinavian patch. And yes it is a no-cd.
Download the Scandinavian patch. And hack a little bit in you'r regedit.
Then U can install the patch.

Thanks a lot guys, I'll do that. What to do to "hack into the regedit" is beyond my comprehension right now, but I'll try to figure out.

BTW has anyone else used cd check in his patch? I've never seen such a thing before!

What do you mean with "op" ? Operating System ? Something else ? Usually reinstalling the game takes care of most patch problems.

Wait, you dont have the CD for this game and the game mentioned in THIS thread.
