Help with tony hawks 1
 

Ok i noticed a few guys had this prob but never found help
see . he'res mine its a bit different .
I burned a nonboot copy of tony hawks proskater 1 im sure it was the kalisto rip . anyways . it worked fine for about 15 minutes i free skated and trickattacked witha friend . but i left the room . and i came back and the thing froze on the loading screen for career mode . and it hasnt worked since . everything is fine . but anytime it loads anything it crashes something sick .

My dc works great . even with heavy loaders .
but i even burned a selfboot copy of this game using bin 2 boot . and messed with the files to cut loading times . im no noob .
but this thing still will not get passed the screen . my only hope is this one post i found . where some dude said close everything and only have DJ burning . i doubt this will work . but im gonna give it a shot . any help will be appreciated .

doesnt anyone know of any dc modeling utilities . i know theres a larger version of the katana dev kit . that i dont have . does anyone know if it includes modeling tools . /.? ..

i need to break into the nja and pvm model files

thanx . hoping to get a reply to this post . should be easier than the adding to gameshark discs one . . - which would be nice if the codes werent hardcoded .

vanishing point had a prob like this where if the your dc had ISP settings in it it would not stop "accessing data" . but . i tried that fix . got it to work . but still zippo with thawk .

I never played this game enough to see it freezes, but I have made a selfboot version, and it seems to work fine.

thanx for responding meg . by the way . what hex prog did you use on isos1. i need to get at sfalpha3 again .. but my hex workshop 3 wont open it . seems like 512 of ram isnt enuf .

im gonna reburn a nonboot version and try again from there

I use HEdit : it's great.
For hex comparisions, I use NitroHex. That's a great tool too.

i have a self boot copy which i made from a non boot, played perfectly, although i think captain corena was whatever her name was got ripped out cause whenever you try to load her profile the game would freeze


anyway it sounds like a currupt file to me

thanx i thought so too; but it wouldnt make sense as to why the game would work fine the first time and be fully playable .

Never froze for me. Always worked fine, still does.
