external xbox modchip?
 

i jus want to know if there will be an external xbox modchip b/c i dont wanna have to crack open my xbox and solder in something. does someone know? if not, is there a site dedicated to xbox mod chip developement? thnx.

If you really dont want to solder any thing, you can pick up a Martix witch is solderless. Takes about 10min to install, and you have to flash it your self.

is there a tutorial on this, like a quick overview of this 'matrix' modchip? and how badly can i **** up my xbox if i do something wrong? anyone got experience tips on this?

Lets take a step back here. Before you go off and buy a Matrix, do you know what Ver XBox you have? The Matrix doesnt really care, but it is harder to get it to work on a Ver1.1 vs the 1.0.

As for killing your XBox, it could happen. And a bus chould come crashing into my house too... I think if you read the manual and do as it says, you will be fine.

Oh I would NOT buy any thing from easybuy2000, buy it from GameGizmo, or The Console Corner. I would order from The Console Corner, I bought my chip from them, also have sent a few people and they were happy with that also.
