Do i have to connect these points????
 

I joined all of these the letter points, but i'm not sure if i have to join the red circle points that druw to show you guys. I bought my messiah chip here:

and i had to join some wires to others, because my wires where not long enough.
Please tell what if i have to join these spots, cause none of my games work, not even the original ones.:confused: :confused:

I can't fit the picture into the reply so please chechk it out for me. I connected all the letter points, but i don't know if i have to connect points like C1, C3 and all of those other points. You can see the picture of the messiah xs on:

I havn't fitted one of these mods (& don't think I will either) but, the C1 point you refer to joins the GND & 5V tracks so I wouldn't bridge them.

You said ur originals don't work but, if you want some help m8 you'd better share some symptoms with us! What happens when you try to boot up?

I hope the wire you joined was soldered & insulated! Though it's still preferable to use fresh.

What happends when i boot up a original or copy game is that it take me to the brouwser adn sytem configuration menu and when i hit X so it can brouws; it gives me the white screen that says no data.
Please help me out if you know wnything more.:confused:

Ok m8 - check ALL the ribbon cables to make sure they are fitted properly. If they are, uninstall the chip & check the operation of ur console. Even the slightest damage to the drive cables will render them u/s.

Maybe long winded but you have to 100% certain ur machine still works!

OK I OPEN IT UP AND FOUND OUT THAT I DID NOT CONNECT THE CABLE FOR THE LENS, THEREFORE IT DID NOT READ ANYTHING. HOWEVER I FOUND A NEW PROBLEM!
THIS TIME THE ORIGINAL AND COPIES GAMES LOAD UP TO THE BROUWS AND CONFIGURATION MENU AND YOU CAN SEE LIKE THE DIFFERENT COLOR OF CD'S. IT SAYS PLAYSTATION 2 DISK AND IF IT'S ORIGINAL IT LOADS A BLUE CD. IF IT'S A COPY GAME, IT LOADS A BLACK CD. HOWEVER AFTER I PRESS X, IT KEEPS ON SHOWING ME THE SAME MENU AND DOES NOT LOAD FROM THERE.
SO I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. IT'S A GOOD THING I GOT WARENTY ON IT FOR A YEAR. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!:confused: :)

Back out of the install! Remove ur chip & all the wire/solder, then see if ur machine works correctly. If it does, start again, but this time connect all the cables first time lol

oKi CHECKED IT AND IT STILL PLAYS ORIGINAL GAMES.
 

HOWEVER I REINSTALLED THE CHIP AND IT DID NOT WORK.
I DAMAGED THIS LITTLE TINNY PEACE THAT I THINK JOIN TOGETHER TO TRACKS. IT'S ONE OF THEM LITTLE PEACES THAT THE P2 2 HAS ALL OVER.
pLEACE GET TO ME TELLING ME WHAT I CAN DO TO FIX THAT PROBLEM.

MMMMMMMMMM there are several lil tiny peaces, what point were you soldering when it fell off?

You know ur PS2 isnt fubar so you just need to calm down & take ur time & all will be ok. I'm fully aware you yanks prefer the gung ho style instead of the gentle nice way, but that don't work with PS2ooz lol :D :D :D

Well i excanged my playstation 2and I reinstalled the modchip, however it does not...
 

It plays the original games perfect, but it does not play the backups. All i get is the red screen. What do you think can be the problem and where can i find a real messhia 2 pro moddchip for a cheap price?

Send charlie_ps2 or dust2dust an email. They can supply you with a Messiah 2. You might want to send your ps2 to Bill at freedomlives to do the install. But if you think you can do it, go for it.

I reckon ur 90% succesful m8! Just check all ur points over, you may have crossed 2 wires over or have the slightest bridge.
