red magic 3.1?

When did the magic 3.1 turn red. I think it was blue a few days ago.
Can anyone help my confusion?

I think it was about 1 or 2 weeks ago, there isn't any difference in the code though between the blue pcb and the red one, I currently have the red one and it works alright.

so my installer tells me the red 3.1 does not need a switch fitting to stop games like GTA vice city & The getaway freezing

I have a Magic 3.6 which is a 3.1 with a clip so you get less wires to solder.

I backed up Vice City from the original using Verbatim 2X DVD-Rs and DiscJuggler latest version and it works perfect. No freezing or anything like that.

I know a few guys with a magic 3 and they have been saying the best type of dvdr to use with a magic 3 is pioneer they say it hasnt been freezing like it use to.

buy a messiah2 sort all your problems :)
