Verbatim Disc's?
I was curious as to which Verbatim disc's I should be ordering. I have seen some labeled "for general" and "for authoring". I have gotten some Verbatim disc's for general and my dvd-rw drive doesn't seem to be able to pick up on them. I put them in the drive, it reads for a minute, and nothing. Did I get the wrong discs or did someone send me some bunk ones. I have a HP DVD writer 200i.

The HP burner is for + media not -. This may be the problem.

#@!$%#@#@$#!!!!
I have a Magic 3.5 installed on a v7. I am sure the install job was done very well. No wires touching or bad connections. I am using Memorex dvd+r discs. my system plays all originals ps2 discs and dvds fine. Ihav not tried burnt dvd movies yet but when I try to load a copied ps2 game it just goes to the screen to select browser or system configuration. I open the browser and it say disc read error. I have tried recording at the slowest speed possible. do you thnk it is the media or my chip?

I can vouch that the connections in Headly's PS2 are top notch. Couldent do better myself. SOMEONE HELP US:)

a breakthrough
I have narrowed my problem down to a media problem. I copied a PS1 game on memorex CD-R and the game played fine. If anybody has a good site to buy disc's it would be appretiated.
