Yuris revenge
 

Hi...
I have a copy of yuris revenge...
But while the game installs it halts and the message that a file error appears coomes up...
It goes something like this...
Error when a file was writen in the directory....Or something like that.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Let's start by trying your ORIGINAL cd, does it work ? Do you even HAVE it ? Did you read THIS ? Questions, questions...

There was a REASON for me to ask if your original worked. So you have one. DOES it work or not ? If you want to be helped, we have to start somewhere. Make sure you don't get the same error if you try installing from your original. It sounds like a bad copy anyway. Use clonecd to make another copy (or an image on the hard disk mounted with daemon tools if you want to test the image before writing a new cd), make sure you use the "game cd" profile and first edit that profile to use a lower read speed (preferably 4x), this should help you get a good image on your hard disk, if you don't have any problem mounting that image with daemon tools and installing/playing from it, you can safely write it away to a cd.

What RINCE said is also what i would of said "Make sure you don't get the same error if you try installing from your original. It sounds like a bad copy" also i own yuris revenge and had a few probs backing it up at 1st,(before i knew about game copy world that is) and for me i couldnt get blindwrite or easycd creator (wich is cracp anyway in my opion) to make a sucsessfull back up but in the end clonecd did it perfectly and if your cdrw is up to it make a 1.1 backup (no need for nocd cracks ect) using clonyXXL 2.0.0.6 to scan your disk and clone to erm clone it :p
