D2 game USA version
 

Hi there,

I am trying to rip this nice game without success.
Anyone knows if this game have any protection?; because my problem is that when I try to downsample videos of the game to fit in a nice 99 min cd the game works well at the start and when it plays the first video the sound is very bad and in 5 minutes my dremcast makes a reset.

if i remember....i dont think it was possible to copy this game because the movies use the in game engine so downsizing would be too tricky

Yes this game uses ingame video's so downsampling is quite impossible i think. Maybe deleting all the speech ala shenmue 2 (it has speech right)?

It's possible to get it 100% maybe when there are 1 gb CD roms. 99 min is still too small. I heard this full official game was about 970 mb a disc.

But if it gets ripped soon one day I would be happy, tis one of those games i never played at all and wouldn't bother buying the original too.

the in game speech of shen mue 2 was ripped yeh, not during cut scenes

yep i know, i got my hands on the iso. And to be honest it isn't as disturbing as i thought it would be, i played the first 30 mins and i heard alot of speech simply cuz the game just is very much about cutscenes :)

cd 4 takes the piss on cut scenes....then again cd4 is basically shen mue 3

yeh i know, but i usually skip all that non cutscene talks by pressing b and just read it. same goes for non story related civillians. Even with the original i did this.
