madden 2K3 no cd patch??
 

Hi

I have version 3.1.1.7 of madden installed. tried various patches out there to get it to work but always get an error message saying i need to put in correct cd when I start it.

Does anyone know where I can get a proper working patch?

I tried gamecopyworld but this does not work, :-(

What do you mean with "various patches" ? Did you use an official patch to update the game to a later version ? Or do you mean a crack that patches an executable ? Do you have, by any chance, the original cd's or am I wasting my time here ?

yes I have the original cd just getting a bittired of having to keep reinserting in to the drive every time I want to play.

I have downloaded the upgrade form ea sports. What I meant by various patches was that I tried the no-cd cracks from the gamescopyworld site and none of them seem to work!

There's only one crack for 3.1.1.7 on GCW and it's NOT a nocd, it's a fixed exe. A fixed exe disables the copy protection but if the game has an additional cd check (they usually have) then you still need to have a backup in the drive. Try the 3.1 nocd here and tell me if it works for you (it may not be for 3.1.1.7 but you can always try). It's the one with "gimpsRus - no CD" under it.

Ive also been looking for the latest no-cd for the above patch...strangely no group released a no-cd for this latest patch....i obviously never asked for one on here as at the time it had only just come out.

If no group is doing a no-cd for this...can anybody on here attempt it???

And RincewindTheWiz,the megagames crack is for the 1st patch that came out,not for this 2nd one...thx for trying anyway...appreciated mate:)

yeah I tried the patch for the 3.1 version but to no avail. Looks like i am stuck for the time being. Thans for the suggestion though.

You can always try to make a clonecd image of the game cd and mount that using Daemon Tools. This WILL work for ANY game version. Otherwise you'll have to wait for someone to crack te latest version.
