Are Memorex DVD-R/Rws any good?

I pretty much have always used their CDRs with no problems and I was wondering if anyone has used their DVD-Rs. I've noticed nobody mentions them.

Seven, how do you like your Sony DRU-500A? I'm getting one my self and wanta know what you think of yours. I'm getting sick of going to my buddy's place to burn my PS2 games. POS PS2 wont read DVD+RW disks  Witch is what my burner can only burn.

Thanks

The Memorex DVD-RW's are manufactured by Ritek, but they are cheaply done--they only work 50% of the time in my home DVD players and not once in my PS2, while the TDK's (made by TDK, of course) work in all of them, and my PS2. Their isn't much difference in the price, so spend the extra buck/two a disk for the TDK's. At Circuit City, I got 1 TDK for 8.99, and a 5 pack of Memorex at BestBuy for 35.99. I'm only using the Memorex for storing backup images of my hard drives, while the one TDK is used for all my test burns before the final DVD-R is burned.

Good Luck!
