What am I doing Wrong
 

Managed to get a backup of a DVD backup to work doing a staight DVD copy using Nero but when I try this with a CDRW the Xbox doesn't recognise the disk. Any ideas guys. Need to sort this out before I get brave enough to try EvoX. By the way doesn EvoX work with any Mod Chip? How do I find out what chip I have installed (is it just open the case and look?)

Maybe your XBox doesnt read CD-RWs. Did you try a DVD-R / +R disk?

u could install any, u just needa clarify if u need one or u bought a premod or u got a plain old one

Yeh, I've tried CDRs and CDRW. The source disk I'm copying from are on CDRW and they work in the console. Would you use Nero and do a straight CD Copy?

You cant make a copy of a "bootdisk" to another disk. It just wont work. You need to burn a ISO to the media that loads on your XBox, then it will work.

Ya, hear what you're saying man but don't understand how it worked for the DVD +RW

Try using record now max. Also try another brand of cd-rw.
