Where can I get I6COMP 1.02?
 

Black & White copy requires the 1.02 , not the 1.03b patch...

I did look for it. I can only see 1.03b

Although I certainly appreciate you replying to try to help me out, I went to the hyperlink (which was the same as the one I was looking into before), and found:

InstallShield 5.x Cabinet Compression & Maintenance Util v2.01
InstallShield 5.x Cabinet Compression & Maintenance Util v1.0
InstallShield 6.x Cabinet Compression & Maintenance Util v1.03ß
InstallShield 6.x Cabinet Util v0.2

None of which are 1.02... Am I missing something or what? I tried to download 1.03B, and 0.2, and both give errors.

It downloaded just fine for me.

i was the guy who originaly suggested you try the icomp 1.02,
i have tested it on the b&w cab files and it works fine
i think your problem, judging from what you said in your other msg is that your cab file is faulty.
i used I6COMP 1.02 from the asian mirror and i also tested 1.03, only 1.02 works for B&W.
i can confirm what the bot-ck says

I have had the same problem with Black and White. My copy doesnt work and I cant find Icomp V1.02. Just thought I'd let you know youre not the only one.

TIP:
Only 1.02 seems to work not only with most cabinet files but new 6.3 cabinet files as well.
GTA III, black and white ( and creature isle also works too but a bit of more precise knowledge about i6comp is needed.

hmmm.... Maybe I just didnt look hard enough, but when I went to your link under decompilers I only found I6Comp 1.03. Did I miss something?

Nope, download i6comp version 1.03b from the link you posted. It will work with IS 6.3, too.

Ok....then you should also search into the google server. I have all the versions of this great program and only 1.02 seems to work everywhere....I tested 1.03 too but it failed for me( don't know why...maybe some missed). Now i question the people who wants the 02 version......why?
What's going on with that version?.....maybe DOS syntaxis...?
With 02 i succeed with f1 2002 or gp4 with CRC check.....

Really could you post how do you use this progtam? i cannot forsee where is the problem....
