.img what should I do
I am totally new to this back up stuff and now my AvP is 3 files (.img .ccd .sub) those are the three files it's in (all different things).
What should I do? Is there any way to install it without burning it? |
I know what you are trying to do - No I DID NOT download them!
I ripped the game onto my computer and was going to make a back up but then I didn't get around to burning the backup and forgot about everything. Earlier today I sold a few CDs (all commercial copies of PC games) to a friend and went through and deleted the files from my computer. I found my IMG, SUB, and CCD in a file and realized I never got around to making the backup. Like I said, I am new to this and was told that I should put the files onto my computer instead of copying them from CD to CD. And the AvP is not one of the CDs I sold earlier. |
Thanks man, I get that a lot.
I downloaded Daemon Tools but couldn't figure it out. I read you are supposed to "Mount the Image" and then go to "emulate" and click the type of protection it is. I did that and it didn't do anything...Do you know what is wrong and also how do I figure out what kind or protection it is? Thanks |
CirKutz is right - Alien vs. Predator is SecuRom protected !

Charliefrown : I give some step by step advise on Daemon Tools in this thread, second post. Try it, it really isn't too difficult.
