If i get a pre mod X box will it have the ybox bios on it or i will have to do it myself

Most likly you will have to do it your self.

u just needa redo the hdd more or less to format it to use the ybox. check out http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/evox-ybox.php, and do what it says

well, having the ybox bios depends on which chip you have. Did it say includes the ybox bios? Anyways, you should look for the newer x-ecuter bios instead of the hacked ybox bios. It looks for evoxdash.xbe, then nexgen.xbe. If it can't find those, it looks for xboxdash.xbe.

If you got the x-ecuter v2 lite, then it should have the hacked bios on it.

These problems you are talking about doesn't affect the x2 mod chips, one of the major reasons these new chips where made where because of xbox live, the x2 mod chips do this

boot evoxdash.xbe
boot nexgen.xbe
boot xboxdash.xbe
(in that order)
mean, you call evox (evoxdash.xbe) and ms dash (xboxdash.xbe) so when you run the update for xbox live, it works fine and doesn't mess up evox or nexgen for the matter. This is due to the new x2 bios.. :) Much better than bios..
