No sound (but music) with Age of Mythology
 

I use the good crack version 1.0 in english. Everything is ok I have music but not the sound !?!?!
What can I do ???

Hope U know there is a 1.2 patch out. Just run the auto update.
Maybe that's should help U with the sound.
And have U check your settings? If U do have. Please tell us what U have for settings.

I've already update to 1.2 but the problem is the same. The settings in the options game windows are very few and simple. With or without sound hardware accélération is the same. I thing the crack is not the better. Is changing the aom.exe file but ... What crack do you use ?

Have U test to run the game with the original CD?

With an trial version yes. But I have a 2 cd copy of the full version. But all is working good just the sound ...

No, we want to know if you have the ORIGINAL version. As in : you bought it instead of copying it from a "friend". It looks like this is another thread heading to "Read the damn board rules". This is a good illustration of why we enforce the board rules BTW. You have strange audio problems with your copy, I wanna bet you wouldn't have those with the REAL cds. If you don't have the originals, ANYTHING can be wrong with your copy and we just can't know what it is.

Effectivly I va an copy. But where can I find an image of the cd ?

Let me put this real simple : You need to have the ORIGINAL cd. If you don't have it, read the board rules.
