soul calibur+selfboot
is there a way to make solu calibur selfboot?
|
It depends in what file extentions they are in. If they are .iso it's different from .cun+.bin. And there is .nrg (non boot) and .cdi (non boot). Which one is it and i will help you out.:)
|
It does not depend on your image type.
Just follow Echelon's tutorial or Bin2Boot; it should work fine. |
It kinda does, Echelons kit is sort of easy to use if you used such things before. If your a newbie, that's a different story. I found that out the hard way;) .

Since Yamca knows his game isn't selfboot, I guess he has already burnt it. So it's not that hard to copy files from his CD to a directory and follow Echelon's method, or use CDRWin / Bin2Boot.
All my games are selfboot, and I had loads of different format of images. To extract your files, you can use tools like CDMage. It's very easy of use. |
I never used mage. All of my games are selfboot too, all 300 of them. I usually open the image in DJ, see if there is more than one session. If not, i use bin2boot and almost all the non selfboot games work well that way. I don't use Nero unless i make VCD's. If the image is in Nero format, i usually burn it and rip it using DJ. Then i use cdirip to make a bin+cue or iso ( i forget because i haven't had to do that for a while. Then i use bin2boot. Those really are all the programs i use. It's goo to know there are other programs out there to try though!

CDMage lets you extract files from loads of image types.
Once you've got your files on your HD, : _ either you use Echelon's method to selfboot your game _ either your use CDRWin or MKiSofs to build an ISO 9660 image and then Bin2Boot. Bin2Boot doesn't work for all game. "Perpetual Blue" doesn't work, for example. I didn't manage to selfboot it... |
also, bin2boot only works when a game is 77 minutes or less.
