hi all.i have the latest clonyxxl(2011 i think)and it doesn't identifies some protected games such as cd-check.i stop it when it reads the sectors cause it needs a lot of time

If U stop it when it read those sectors, u can't get a working image or do u?
And if u have a working image it can't be perfekt because the sectors that's take a lot of time are the cd-protection sectors...so I don't know what U are into.... :confused:

for ex robn hood.it has cd-check.it's searching and nothing.then the sector search is starting buti stop itand says none or unknown protection.i think cd-check and some other doesn't identify.maybe those that are in the sector section.you think i should let the sector search finish?it'l take 3 minutes

Normaly SafeDisc protected CD. Have so called "Bad sectors" and that could dippend what cd. But normaly it had about 1000 bad sectors and it takes to read about 30-60 minutes.

U also have sectors that's take long time. I don't think it SafeDisc but it could be.
What ever. You'll need to test if these sectors are needed. So my answer is YES read the sectors.
I've just looking up at GCW and found out that's have a protection that's I'm not famlier with. "Readerrors". So maybe ju should read in those sectors to. That's take 3 minute. Do that. And again YES. :D

here it is again.i have icewind dale 2 and i let it read the sectord.non or unknown protection.on gamecopyworld it sais cd-check.clonyxxl doesn't indentify cd-checks.

sorry guyz for writibng this here BUT i am doing an image with clonecd(using the ccd4 profiler.i choosed cd-check)and it's writing for 2 hours it's continuing.it says scanning for bad sectors and then after a while writing dummy files.this is gonna take long.can i use winoncd and copy it with the protection and play it with the crack?

You can always use a crack, providing you can find one for your version/language of the game. Have a look around here.

it's ok after 2 and a half hours my computer crashed and i restarted it.i used winoncd and wrtote the cd in 10 minutes and it's playing well.i just use clone cd to put the images on the virtual clone dvd so i don't have to write them on cd.but i don't understand why clony doesn't identify cd-checks.what program do you use?maybe it's not supported

That's because cd checks are not the same in all programs, clonyxxl can check for safedisc 2 specific features present for example, but a simple cd check can be done in a number of ways in the main code and therefore is hard to determine. If the game still requires the cd in the drive, it has a cd check.
