SimCity 4
 

I have downloaded the NoCD crack for SimCity 4 from 4 different places, including GameCopyWorld, everytime I execute the Crack my machine reboots... Anyone have any ideas...

2.6ghz P4
512MB Ram
Nvidia 4600 Vid Card
Windows XP Pro

Its no joke it reboots... Anyone have any ideas?

You don't need to kill the exe file.. :p
How ever. The crack isn't any wrong. I've test it. Works fine with me. Reinstall the game. Delete Simcity 4 folder and Simcity 4 folder in My documents that's maybe should solve the problem.
Does the game start when U don't have a cracked version? When U put in the original CD?
If the game don't start even then, U need to contact the EA Games for a new cd.

I think you mean UNinstall the game, then delete the SimCity4 folder and the SimCity4 folder in My Documents.

After that the game can new installed...

Totaly right.
Uninstall then delete folders that I'm was listing then install the game again.
Sorry for my little misstake and thank U for the correction.

Well, I completly uninstalled it. I deleted all the directories. No luck, it still rebooted my system.


Also, before I install the crack, it worked.

Any other ideas?

It's nothing to do with the crack or your install. Simpley turn off antialiasing in the control panel.
It's a major fault of the game, glad to see it went through good QC testing :D

Okay. One thing. If U install the 8.1 DirectX that's in the CD or install the DirectX 9 there is the web. U might have less problems.
But try to do what Evolution sad.

It was the anti aliasing......
