PS2 magic3 & ao5 burner
 

should i mod with magic 3 and buy a a05 burner, or will DVD9
make buying this burner useless, and will the ps2 boot all dvd games perfectlly

laser brand dvd-r media pioneer said that the new firmware for the a05 unit wont work a 1x speed for that brand any help please! i want to use this brand or any other media that is good for 1x speed dvd-r

Sit tight a lil while longer m8 til everyone has replaced their Magic3 stock with Magic 3.1.

Should only be a couple of weeks, just because you order 3.1 doesn't mean they will send you it!

I agree with Dust2Dust, get a Messiah 2 - they are much better than Magic 3 chips - they even have difficulty booting original games like the undisputed king of all PS2 games - GTA Vice City!

Definately get the A05...... Instead of the Magic 3, get the Messiah 2.....

If DVD-9 games become mainstream, then someone will crack them so we can split them to 2 dvd-r's.....

Nothing to worry about right now as there is only 2 or 3 dvd-9 games out....

When DVD-9 capable burners are available to the public, it will be quite some time BEFORE any normal human will be able to afford them without selling their first born child....

Stick with the A05 and the Messiah 2.... You can't go wrong.... :)
