problem burning ps2 cdr please help
 

i hope someone can help me once i have made copy of an original cdr game using clonecd or any other burning program when i put it into my ps2 it starts to load then nothing the disk stops spinning and im left lookin at a blank screen now if i look at the disk in the consoles browser it shows up as a ps1 disk has anyone else had this problem or now how to fix it thanx.

silly question but do you have a modchip installed?

Not silly question. Had non modded people on here before!

i'm actually having a problem close to this. the machine is a v4 w/ a magic3.1. ps2 dvdr will boot fine, psx cdr will boot, all originals boot. ps2 cdr will begin loading, but won't quite get to the "playstation 2" logo, it reverts to the chooser screen, then throws me the red screen of death. if i boot to psx-cdr mode, the disc is recognized as a black bottom psx disc, but eventually chokes on loading the game. different medias, different games, and different software have been tested...could this be a problem with the mod and/or install?

Sounds like a problem with the way you are backing up the games.....

What software have you tried.....:confused:

You should be using Clone CD.....
