Not all dvd players support dvd-r. You can check your dvd player compatability here

had a similar problem with my Toshiba4800. Here is what worked for me:
1:setup your "Workspace Folder" to a directory you chose 2:setup what you want with DVDXCopy 3:when it is done ripping the first disk, go to the temp folder specified in step 1 4:change the name of the folder it is using as a temp folder from "DVDXCOPY" to a name of your choice 5:cancel the burn in DVDXCOPY and close 6:using Nero or RecordMaxNow, burn a data DVD with the files from your renamed folder Worked well for me, hope you find a solution. |
disk 2
so what happens when its time to burn disk 2 of the movie?? if i cancel the burn like you said will it automatically start making disk 2 ?

disk 2
could you please tell me how to burn the second part ? thanks
|
Under advanced options choose skip 1st disc or advance to 2nd disc or something to that matter. Did you get your Verbatim dvd-r yet?
|
ritek
using ritek for now heard sams club as verbs for 2 bucks a piece is that a good price ?
|
For Verbatim thats a very good price. Riteks work great too. That's what I am currently using.

dumb question
one more dumb question if you dont mind ? ripped both disk now how do i burn with nero or record now max. sorry new to the dvd thing. thanks again :-)
|
When the Nero wizzard pops up choose dvd, compile a new dvd, other dvd formats, dvd video(I think), then drag the files into their coresponding folders. If that doesnt work try data dvd.

thanks
