why would i need a bigger hd?

If you have a bigger hard-drive, you can put game on it and play them off it. An alternative to a dvd burner.

how do you do that

I just added that tutorial to my site today. You basically copy it to your PC then back to the xbox.

They sell xbox's with larger HDD's installed. Scroll to the very bottem and there are x-ecutor 2 lite deals. The normal HDD is 10gig (or 8, depending on the hdd MS installed).

i want to be able to change the dashboard and copy my games its not that important to save to hard drive not right now but maybe later down the line and i want to be able to go one x box live

It comes with the new "X-ecutor 2 Lite" modchip. It has an on/off switch, and has xbox live installed.

I dunno if you know this, but if you go on Xbox Live with a modded xbox, you will be banned perminately. An on/off switch is included. This makes it so you can switch it off to go on xbl, then turn it back on when you want to play your backups.

dude i wouldnt say its pointless.. if because you could also copy emulators and systems to your xbox... gettin a dvd burner is alternative, but i suggest a hard drive due to the fastness in speed and the ease of accessing the hard drive

That question isn't allowed to be asked anymore. Xbox emulators and apps were built with an illegal copy of the xdk. Therefore, the emulators are illegal. If you know what mIRC is, I suggest using that and going into some xbox channels in #efnet. Or you can try google.
