Sony DRU500A
 

I have a Sony DRU500A burner I just installed and recently purchased DVD-Cloner. I have not been able to burn a DVD yet. It copies the image to the hard drive and then asks for a blank disk, then the timer continues, but nothing ever happens. What am I doing wrong? I have seen people complain about DVD-Cloner on the site and wonder if that is my problem. Any help would be great.

try dvdxcopy...it works good to backup your dvd's, i too have a dru500a and i haven't had any real problems...a little error, but i worked through everything...and it works fine now...

Thanks, I will give that a shot. I have to assume it's the software and not the burner at this point.

Hi I also Have the DRU-500A & use DVDXCOPY & it works great. Only prob I had was the media issue I use Fuji & Verbatim. Works every time.

I guess DVDXCOPY is the way to go.
