Ive Been told by someone (Mr. X) that it doesnt matter which safedisc version it is older clone Cd 2.4 or something And
clony Xl Not XXL will crack it with no need for a patch

so i dont know whether he is a wizard or a lying Wanker

he claims copying over 1,000 PC CD's and only one failure

the infamouse Motoracer 3 (TAGES) but he claims it dont matter

if its version 2.51 or 2.81 he can crack it using

a lite_on CDRW

CloneCD in combination with a LiteOn is able to copy all the Safedisc2 Version perfect - except V2.8x.

GLH is right - his claim that this software combo is the best isn't true - it's just that Lite-on's are synomonous with being able to cut Safedisk.
And the claim that using Clony XL instead of XXL is also rubbish as they will give the exact same settings as the end result.

Always use the latest Clone CD or Alcohol (the programmers aren't trying to hide features from us that were in past versions).

so where is the hope in copying Safedisc V2.8

You can use Alcohol 120% with Bypass EFM Errirs turned on if you want to copy 2.8.
