You are going to find out eventually that NERO does not work for all PS2 backups....You will also find that the Swap Magic Discs will NOT BOOT all games.....
Used Clone CD for all your cd based backups and RecordNow Max for all your dvd based backups.... |
how the heck

I personally DON'T use it..... I have a few friends and have READ numerous other reports about some games that would work when copied with NERO.... Take the same original, same media, and copy it with another burning program, and it worked perfectly.... Have no idea why.....
Thats the reason I always rec. using Clone CD (for cd based games) and RecordNow Max (or Primo.... for dvd based games).... They have NEVER failed me in producing a working backup.... I guess the NERO thing could be compared to CDRWIN vs Clone CD.... Where CDRWIN fails to produce a good backup, Clone CD WILL..... |
I agree with everything you say regarding clone cd m8, nothing else in my opinion comes near. As you are well aware tho, others swear by cdrwin!
I do have primo dvd but not used it (nero is so easy to operate my wife can do it!). If I can find a serial for Recordnowmax then I'll download it to carry out an evaluation b4 purchase (like most peeps, I have spent a fortune on software that I never use). |
