evo x procedure
can anyone help me out?
i have evo x versions beta v1.8.3285, v1.8.2812 evo x v2.6, v3.6, vd.6 & vd.6 with eject fix ( all bin files ) up to now i have copied the various different versions onto disc (cd-rw) but i have had no luck with it loading onto the x-box. do i have to copy any particular part, and in what format? my x-box has a mod chip installed but i don't know which one. if someone could kindly let me know as to the correct procedure i would be very grateful ( and so would my hair as i have tugged most of it out ) cheers |
Did you just burn them to a disk, or did you create an xbox ISO first? If you burn them directly to the disk, then it will most likely not work.
Create an xbox image with Xiso, the burn the image with somehting like NERO. You might also have to put a dummy image on the cd-rw. |
yes i did burn an iso image to a cd-rw, then i put it in my xbox only to get the same old message "please insert a xbox disc or check to see if this disc is damaged or dirty blah, blah, blah..."
it is the initial stages that i am stuck with, its probably something small that i am not doing right. do i have to bung something else on the disc for it to be big enough for the xbox to read? any thoughts will go down well. p.s i know beer gut is having the same problem. and he is a fat gay boy |
well, i sent him and you an iso image. If it doesn't work, then yes, you probably do have to make a dummy file or put a bunch of useless junk on the cd-rw.

Can you Please Please send me a copy aswell as i too ma having the same problem?
When do you put the junk on the disk befor, after or in the xiso? |
pm me an email to send it to. If it's yahoo or something, make sure your mail box is empty because this file takes up most of it.
