Im going to buy a dvd rw ........i want to make back ups of dvds i own..........who has the best dvd rw for this.........and what are the best media for this

The DVD recording market is in a bit of a dilema at the moment.

There are two types of media out there, DVD-R(W) and DVD+R(W).

If you are going to invest in a new burner I would recommend the Sony DRU-500A as it's the only one in the world that supports both media types.

It's about £250 in the UK.

I'm not sure what it would cost in Italy.
