V4 r-Mod Gameshark and DVD-r backups

Problems. I have a Version 4 R-modded PS2. I can play cd-r backups with no problem. My PS2 will play dvd-r movies. But when i try the swap methods that are listed in throughout the forum I have no luck with DVD-r games. I am using a Pioneer A04 and I have Verbatim and Memorex DVD-R media. I am using RecordNow DX software and I copied my Backups per the tutorial in the forum.

If I start the an original game pause it swap the disk with the DVD-r backup using the r-mod. The game works with no problem. I hear it accessing the disk as I play. This makes me believe that the disk is burnt correctly.

Devil May Cry Demo is my high toc disk. I also used the original disk of the backup, Mortal Kombat DA and Vice City. When the swap fails it either stalls on a Black Screen or goes to the insert PS2 format disc

I am using the GameShark version 2.0x and above version instructions.

I appreciate any help I can get with my problem.

i tried for 6 months to boot dvd-r games
i tried all the methods and it never worked
wrote the same game to all sorts of dvd-r media
everyone kept telling me i was a hopeless loser

got the swap magic 2 boot disks last week
all the dvd-r games i ever did on all types of
media booted immediately.....single swap
OK so there r a couple of games (britneys dance beat)
it won't boot.....but its a damn sight better
than the gameshark/action replay and dead easy to use!

My swap magic disc or on the way. I ordered those last weekend. I figured my timing was screwed or something. I will get the disc between tomorrow and Thursday. But I am a little upset, I so wanted that Britney's Dance Beat. LOL :D
