to patch or not to patch...thats the question
 

i order the magic v3.5 mod chip yesterday but its going to be 3-1/2 weekes before it gets here( i have the game shark v.2) ....i was going to do the knife swap trick for the mean time. here's my questions

1. do i have to patch the game(dvd) so i can use it with the game shark

2. whats the easiest way to install the patch

3. any thing else i need to know so i can plays back-ups a.s.a.p

Mate, Don't bother doing the knife trick, just wait for the magic 3.

Anyway, i'm presuming you want the magic 3 to play BACKUP's. So why are you in such a rush to play them when you own the ORIGINALS?;)

I agree with Jay_83..... Why risk SCREWING up your PS2.... Just wait for the chip..... Or you could cancel the Magic 3 order and get the Messiah 2 and have it there well before you would have got your Magic 3....:)
