X-box game backup
 

I haven't been keeping up with the progress on backing up games for the X-box.
First off, is it possible to backup X-box games and play them on the X-box?
Secondly, if it is possible whats the best modchip to get and DVD burner?
Third, do games need to be patched before making a backup?

yes it is possible to backup xbox games.
however you need a modded xbox networked to a pc and running 2 pieces of software to do it. first piece is evolutionx second is a ftp programme ( i use flashfxp).
there are many very extensive posts in the xbox section all about these subjects.
i have a matrix mod chip ( a friend did the install so i dont know how to programme the bios etc) this chip works fine for me.
there are quite a few mod chips on the market now and i honestley can not say which is best. give quall999 a shout via his profile he may be able to shed some light on the differences between mods for you.
