quick questions
 

Hi all and happy new year. I've got some quick questions for you.

a. Do you know what copy protection icewind dale II has?

b. What are playstation 2 games? CDs or DVDs? Can they be copied through pc cd-recorders? e.g my plextor.

c. I have a problem with audio cds. I find what protection they have, make the appropriate settings in clonyxl and therefore clonecd, I copy it fine but always the last song of the cd is altered. It plays and pauses, plays and pauses. Continuously. Just the last one. I write it at max speed. Does that have something to do with it?

d. Why don't cdr blanks get written in maximum speed? I use Philips cdr80 48x but I nevert write more than 29x.

Icewind Dale 2 has only CDCheck. You should be able to copy that with CloneCd and any burner.

For the other questions you are in the wrong forum.

PS2 games come on cd and dvd's I believe - depends on what game it is.

Can't think straight this morning (new year's day and all that), but you might have something ticked that checks the quality of the cd and determines the optimum speed - can't think of the name right now :confused:

Hi guys and thanks for your replies.

1) IWD II was copied just fine, true, there was only cdcheck.
2) Ps2 games come in both formats. Depends on the game.
3) I stopped writing my audio cds in full speed. I've set it up to 12x, although it writes up to 9 actually). It takes a little longer but the last piece is ok. So don't write audio cds at full speed.
