yamaha 2100e can copy sd2
 

with the new firmware (1.0n) I have copied THPS2 in my 2100E and it works in the drive and also in my Panasonic SR8583 DVD drive!
Should I also be able to sucessfully copy stronger versions?

To see if you can back up stronger versions then trie ALICE adn RA2!

Are you sure that your backups can work in all drives, you must test it in more that 2 drives!

yup, you're right, I've also now tried it in a mistsumi CD-ROM and it's ok, just have to get my hands on Alice or RA2. To copy I'm using Clonecd 2.8.4.3 and fast error skip.

I had this drive and I couldn't copy Undying and Black & White with it, these were the only SD2 games I tried.

which firmware were you using? Where are you? I have a European drive, I don't know if this makes a difference - I'm guessing you're US cos black&white has only just come out here

I was using 1.n first and that didn't work so I uploaded 1.h and that still didn't work. It's a US drive, yeah i don't know if it makes a difference. I haven't had a problem copying anything other than SD2 with this drive.

pants, can't copy B&W
