Messaih 2 pro or Magic 3(.5) w/clip?
 

Where is the best place to purchase a messiah 2 pro chip I have a ver 6 and (2) ver 7's I want to chip. Is this the best chip for these models or should I look at the Magic 3(.5) w/clip?

I heard that some games (Vice City) are having problems with the Magic chip and a 3.1 is out to fix this.

Any insight would be helpfull since I have been out of this hobby since 2000 with my PS1.

The 3.1 is supposed to fix those problems but nobody here has one to prove it actualy works. I would go with the messiah 2. It is a proven winner. Contact dust2dust or charlie_ps2 if you are interested.

Thanks, I have a note into both of them and looks like after more reading of many PS2 forum sites. The Messiah 2 Pro is the best way to go for PS2 Ver 6 and ver 7 to play all the latest game (to date)

You won't regret going with the Messiah 2. Unless you are very experienced at soldering I suggest you send in your PS2s to Bill at freedomlives.com. He does an awesome job and guarantees all his work.
