back-ups using plextor + vcd's
 

Hi all,
I'm new to this community but think its a brilliant site, so once again hello. my question is this: I have finally bought a ps2 (v5) and am wanting to make some back-ups of games. i have a cd-r (plextor 16/10/40a) cd writer and a pioneer dvd rom. i have been told i can use these to make copies but not quite sure how. would anyone be able to refer me to a relevant link or have any info for me. also is it possible to make the ps2 play vcd's and how. Any help on these to questions would be greatly appreciated.
