Sony DRU500A NOT Recognized
 

I have the Sony DRU500A which i updated with the firmware update on sony's website to make it do 4x DVD+R.

Windows XP recognizes it.

I have Primo 2.0, Nero 5.5.9.9, Record Now 4.5, and the newest PXENGINE update direct from Veratus. My drive is NOR recognized, what do i do??

I have the same problem with the same drive.. I've had to use DiscJuggler for now because it's the only program I have that will burn and recognize my burner... anyone know any other good burning programs that will work correctly with this drive??

i have gotten record now MAX and Nero to work with the dru500a, just need to get record now MAX not record now and the newest version of NERO,


still cant get PRIMO DVD to work even with newest px engine update

Is your aspi layer installed?

Yea, I have the most up to date ones.

Im having the same problem ..

ASPI drivers dont seem to work ..

I wonder If I connected something wrong ...

Well I formatted, went and got ASPI 4.71.2.0, and installed Nero 5.5.10.0 and it works perfectly. Before I think it was because I was using like nero 5.5.05 or something older.. Thanks for the help.
