battlefield 1942 issue
 

hi, i know i might get closed but it's not exactly technical support thread. it's crack related.
i have working cracked no cd 1.1 battlefield version.
now i decided it's time to upgrade to 1.2 and what happens i downloaded official retail US patch which is like 22.8Mb and the patch does not recognize that game is installed. says "setup could'nt find game installation" while the game is installed in the right dir. so you see, i can't even apply the 1.2 crack since i can't even apply 1.2 patch. i think that problem can be related to my cracked 1.1 exe that patch doesn't recognize.
any ideas? maybe someone had similar problem and fixed it.

Uninstall, reinstall, patch up to 1.2, apply latest crack.

You will need to have the original game in order to have the original, protected exe file.

hmm sounds good to me, worked for me before.
that's what i thought - probably it's my 1.1 cracked exe. i guess patch 1.2 is set to recognize original 1.0 protected exe.

hmm not working for me either...
I reinstalled from the cd, applied patch v1.2, then used the fixed exe patch from gamecopyworld.com, then when I try to open the game exe it does nothing.

Dam all these EA games are ****ed up. Same shit with mohaa the patches just dont find the games, its all to stop u bootlegin that shit. I have never and will never pay for a pc game :D i just download em, so all this u need the retail version is no good. :mad: maybe u could just find someone with the retail version and get the exe and registry entries from them if they differ from the copied version.
