Question to burning
 

Hey Folks,

i have a problem:

One week ago i have bought a new CDWriter (Cyberdrive CW088D).
This is my second writer, and this time i've been taken a special look on to the supported write and read modi (?) . Everywhere I was looking, they said that they have even made a working 1:1
copy of the newest securom copyprotection. But I didn't even get one copy working. What am I doing wrong. I'm using CloneCD and Alcohol 120%. I have the newest firmware. What am I doing wrong, even when I use Copy Instructions written by other users it's not working. Can you help me, what I'm doing wrong ?

BTW: Anybody has a working ANNO 1503 Version 1.02 Crack ??

You cannot make an exact 1:1 copy of Securom New. Maybe in the future but at this moment, Securom New includes media description characteristics that simply cannot be written exactly on a normal cdr. What you CAN do, and you probably read about, is use a certain method (twin sectors) to make a copy that is not exactly the same but can work more or less. You cannot make another successful copy of this copy, and in future patches the securom protection will probably disable it again. In the meantime, look for threads about this special backup method, this is a good place to start but there are other threads, use the search button. Another thing you can do is use emulation (alcohol120%), since this does work and will allow you to play without the cd as long as you have an original. Nocd's and other cracks for this latest securom protection are hard to make, especially the ones by JoWood because they incorporate extra checks.

But I have another Question:
For example: I tried to make a copy of ANNO 1503, I mean a 1:1 Copy. That Game has CD Check as to copyprotection. I treid to make an image with alc 120%. I told him that this cd was a normal CD (in the listbox). After making the image file and burning it on a cdr with raw-dao (I guess thats the best method for it, isn't it) I was not able to start the game, the computer treid reading reading but the game didnot f***ing start.
OK, you told me that we are not yet able to make a perfect 1:1 copy of securom new cds. But what about SaveDisc v2.8. I tried to copy FIFA 2003 1:1. I made the image file with settings I've seen in the internet for that game. But after burning the pc told me to lay in the Original CD. So what am I doing wrong???
