Question for an expert ;)
 

Hello,

I have a problem with my magic 2 V7 (with clip v2.1 pitch 1.25) i have just installed on a scph-39004.

PS1 backups and originals boot (prosedure : from standby I push reset until blue flashes).
PS2 originals boot but with the PS1 booting procedure decribed above !
PS2 backup don't boot (black screen after the "electrons").

So I have questions:

1) Can you give me your magic 2 boot procedure. Perhaps mine is wrong !

2) During the installation, I didn't know what to do with a blue wire in the middle of the BGA cable (magic chip side) because i had no information on the installation diagram (magic 2v7 + clip v2.1).
What's wrong ?

3) What king of test I can do to check this installation ?

Here is the boot procedure for the Magic 2..

NOTE: This is with the disk assumed in the tray and the tray closed:

Playstation 2 games

•Power up normally from STANDBY with RESET button. A single tap of the reset button is required.

Playstation 1 games & DVD Movies

•Power up from STANDBY with RESET button held until the blue EJECT light comes on.
•Then release RESET and the disk will boot.

NOTE: Turn off the PS2 (to standby) before changing Modes (PS1/PS2/DVD)
