ASPI drivers

I am trying to run DVD Decrypter on my pc at home but it keeps telling me that there is an error. But I downloaded the exact file at work as I did at home and it works fine. What could be wrong?

bighap 18-12-2002 17:57

It would help you you posted the error you get.

ic99fly 18-12-2002 19:11

Sorry, I guess that would help. I'm not at my home computer right now to tell you. I beleive it says it's corrupt and then closes. How can I keep it from becoming corrupt??

bighap 18-12-2002 19:14

Hmmm.....not sure. If nobody has an answer give smart ripper a try.

ic99fly 19-12-2002 09:56

OK, it tell me that I have did an illegal function and the program will be closed. The reason I wanted to use this proggie is because it does the burning for you all in one long process. Rather than all of the other crap you have to do.

bighap 19-12-2002 10:37

DVD Decrypter doesnt burn. It rips. And yes you still have to go through all that BS you see in the guides in order for it to work. Same goes for smart ripper.

ic99fly 19-12-2002 14:12

Oh, OK. I guess I'm glad that it won't work then. I will be upgrading to winXP after Christmas. Then I will look into dvdxcopy. Thanks for your help.

dvd decryptor does burn
in iso mode only though
so it's only useful for single layer movies
haven't tried using it to do ps2 games

DVD Decrypter does burn, but its useless, especially for PS2...
Better off using it for ripping movies to your hard drive, the use ifoedit to strip unwanted material, and Primo DVD or RecordNow Max to burn with.....
Works perfectly....

DVD decrypter does burn PS2 games no problem as long as you set it to the right burn mode..............
