Help Please! New Pioneer DVR-104 see's blank DVD-R disks as full and Audio type????
 

Hiya all. Need your help PLEASE

Am I missing something basic here?

The unit functions fine (ar appears to), I can watch DVD movies, run games, burn CD-R/RW, etc.

When I try to burn DVD to DVD it reads the source disk fine, asks for the blank DVD-R which I insert, then depending on what software I'm using I get a message "please insert correct media" or similar message to that effect.

Again, your help very much appreciated.
