Updating (Another RA2/Yuri Thread)
Since buying and losing(/scratching the shit out of) my RA cds, I've done and had a lot of crazy stuff done to my game and all the files in it. Initially I just cracked the game (which helped me lose CDs) but have since added mods, swapped files and inadvertadently modified a lot of things that I now realise I shouldn't have.
If any of you have played the MooMan's Rules Mod you'll understand why I'm so desperate to update my version of YR so I can install the mod on it. Unfortunately, when updating I recieve the message that basically tells me I have the wrong file with the right name. The update program is looking at the langmd.mix file, I believe, when the error occurs, but this file is 80 mb, so I'm feeling in a bit of a spot, if you will.
Is there anyone that knows how I can update my game even though it's been corrupted by endless months of my insanity, remembering that I can't reinstall it having lost my CDs?
