on i know how to copy my backup
what mod chip shall i get
and if i buy it will it work on import as well
and what if i buy this will it be obsolet in a week

Go with the Messiah 2. It's still very new and many people still use the original Messiah so you don't have to worry about it going obsolete. All imports will boot with no problems.
