Help problem with mod V4 chip
 

:confused: Hello there, quite new here.
Just installed a V4 no solder mod chip in my PS2 from the SCPH-30001 NTSC Serial: U34XXXXX with 8 screws.
It doesn't work !
Two important facts:
1. According to the steps when I choose using the AR2 "Start game", "Without codes" I should press eject until it becomes orange, how ever !!! Once I choose without codes the trey opens automatically, then I press it for a few seconds, the light turns orange, I put the DVD-R, it closes within 5 seconds, I press X and nothing happens.

2. And this might be more important: I had an S-Box External chip the USB kind, which has one jumper soldered onto the board, could this be the problem ? Can the jumper and the V4 live together ?

What is the problem here ?
