Have tried making a backup copy of lord of the rings without any success.Tried with blindwrite and clone then alchohol 120%.

Spent a few nights looking thru this site but couldnt find anything that might point me in the right direction.

Also installed game from original cd then applied the no CD patch.It gets as far as the games splashscreen then the programme closes.

Can anyone help me out please?

Lord Of The Rings is protected with the New-Newer-Newest SECUROM.

- create an image with CloneCD4.2.0.2 (with SubChannelData)
- create a bwa-file with BWA-Builder of BlindWrite Suite 4.2.7 (read at 1x speed with your burner!)
- start TwinPeak v0.2 and open the image and the bwa
- patch the image by clicking START
- burn the image "patched.ccd" to a cd-r
- play the game from your backup

Ok, thanks guys. I have downloaded TwinPeak v0.2 and created a patched.ccd like you said but after burning this to a cd it still didn't work. Any suggestions?

Install and play the game from your CD-ROM / DVD ! Not from your burner !!!

(or use CloneCDTray-Funtion to Hide CD-R Media)

Do I still need to read and write using settings for Securom?

It will be not bad when you use the securom-settings. But i don't know if it is importent.

Each time it is better to burn so slow...

What am I doing wrong???

I created a ccd image of Lord of the Rings with the very latest Alcohol120%, I created a mds file with alcohol120%, then converted this mds file to a bwa file using bwa builder.
I then used twinpeak to create a patched image with the ccd file and the bwa file.
I write back to disc, and I get a coaster.
It doesn't install fully, when it says to replace install disc with play disc it searches for a file and says it does not exist on the disc. But it is there, I have checked.
Getting very annoyed now, I followed Vlukas faq sheet to the T, used all the programs he said to use, used all the settings, but just keep turning out coasters.
