DVD Writer Media
 

Hey all,

I was wondering which media(s) would work best with the Pioneer A05 and/or Sony dru500a.

I live in Canada, and dvd media is expensive. I need to order media from the States to save money, but i am unsure as to what works well.

I want to be able to backup P2 games, movies etc.

Also, does anyone know a good online store to order media from

As far as what media works best is a matter of preference....

I use Princo branded white label dvd-r's..(The ones that say Princo on the top, not just the blank white labels)

They work great for PS2 games and DVD movies, and they are cheap... You can get 100 of them for $100.00.:)
Traxdata DVD-R's are great, but they are hard to get because none of the suppliers ship to the US....:(
Of course you can always use the BIG brand names, ie..Verbatim, Apple, etc, but they are expensive...
I would suggest ordering a pack of 5 to see what your equipment likes the best, then you can order more quantity...

When ordering online, i have not figured out how to tell what princo discs (good kind or bad) i would be getting.

what is a good supplier of the princo media? i like the idea of discs that work 100 for $100. ill look myself also, but it looks as if you may know the best place to go.

I buy all of mine off of e-bay....

Thanks for the link BG. However, i am not comfortable using ebay, and dealing with person to person. Anyone know of an online store that sells the same discs as the above link? The above link provides a picture of the discs (case) as well.
