I think I broke it....
 

I opened my ps2 for the first time on the weekend, now, when i go to play it, it doesnt seem to boot backups.....

for some reason it still boots DVD-RegX, but then when i swap to a backup and press start, it just stays at the blackscreen....

Im getting a Messiah2 installed on thursday, so it doesnt really bother me if its the mod thats screwed, but i will be rather angry if its a ps2 problem...

any help is good...

anyone got any idea if its a ps2 or mod chip problem???

it also boots the demo disk that came with the PS2....

its sounding more and more like my mod chip rather than the ps2

anyone agree/disagree???

What mod did you install in it and are you using the boot methods suggested on the sticky in this forum? It does boot originals right?? If the PS2 seems to be working as if there is no mod installed I suspect it is the mods problem. I don't install my own chips so I am not experienced with that.

im going to get a messiah2 installed tomorrow, so ill see what my installer rekns

seems more and more like the mod...
