Disc read error
 

Ok peeps

To cut a long story short, I have a failed install in a V4 and carried out all my traditional fault finding techniques before uninstalling the magic3 (I've had no probs whatsoever with magics before so don't try & tell me to buy an M2).

Now, when trying to boot an original game, I get 'DISC READ ERROR'

It has happened to me before but I blamed argos, this time I'm gonna try n fix it myself first soooooooooooooo what have I bust?????

(Me bust it???? surely not lol)

buy the m2 instead :) ;)

i can see 3 possible reasons

1 the magic3 or u cause fuse on ps2 board to blow
2 the laser is blown most likely m3 or your fault
3 bridges most likely points a-1 cd/dvd but check them all


not alot help i know but its somewere to start :)

did u solder to the vias? did u destroy 1 or more of them

did solder to they vias but def didnt destroy one m8 - thinx tis fuse somewhere

in the stickies is a link to fuse list of a gho19 v7 but i boubt its similar to a v4 never looked
