Hmmmmm.... When I get this confounded Dvd-r Dvd-Rw burner I can make....I am assuming.......Dvd movies out of my homemade avi's and jpegs.....No...No... Nothing naughty....I do 3d renderings and animations for architecture and whatever....ANYWAY...my real questions.....Can I PRACTICE on DVD-RW and backup my PS2 DVD's to RW and then try them....Once I get a sequence and I am not making coasters then burn to a -R for the final....If I get a new V7 with Messiah 2....Can I use Dvd-Rw? Hmmmmm..... Then I could erase and try again.. I think I heard that you have to have a v5 or higher.........

Yes... You are correct.... You can burn a PS2 game to a DVD-RW disc and it should play in a V5 or higher....Then you can just erase the disc and do a final burn on a DVD-R....

What's strange, is that in my V5 PS2, the DVD-RW disc seems to play as good, if not better, than a dvd-r..... Oh well, it plays them both, so i'm not complaining..:D

all ps2 lasers are set differently some will read rw better then r others will read r better then rw
