Hi all. I'm considering buying a PS2 (for my kids.......YA right!!!!)
I also would like to know how mush equipment is needed to ummmm well shall we say "test" games ;)
Is there a link in here for newbies so i could read up on it. I "test" several Driect to home satelites so that might help me to catch on to this quickly...I hope

Welcome noob. By "test" do you mean backup games? If yes then go here to read up on the basics. You will need a modchip and a dvd burner if you want to make direct copies.

Yes thats what i mean by "test" I guess they call it back-ups. By looking at what you both have said there is alot of $$$$$$$$ involved with this hobby. By the looks of this I'm gonna have to look for a DVD burner:( Thanks for the info guys!!!!!!!!!:)

How can you give Blue Messiah 9/10 and Neo 2.2 10/10? Blue Messiah sucks and Neo eats up your laser. No solder 4/10? Its not that bad.

Blue Messiah is good my cousin has it and Neo 2.2 is one of the best of the SWAP chips.

well i had a neo2.2 and a no solder mod the neo2.2 worked alot better and my cuzins blue messiah is a good chip.

Neo got 10/10 for SWAP chips

didnt mess up mine so yeah I never had trouble with it
