Isn't it strange how none of the big suppliers have Messiah2 (such as gamegizmo, modchip.com, extrememods, console24.com, modchip.ca, modchip-sbox, consolesource.com etc etc) but Charlie & dust2dust do?

Even in China http://www.project-design.com/ its not available!

No wonder peeps here are singing its praises if they are the only retailers for it. funny as well that all those other sites listed reckon magic3 is the best! mmmmmmm I wonder............

They say the Magic 3 is the best hoping that you will buy it then they will release the Messiah 2 and will tell you to buy that one. I personally think the Apple chip is better than the Magic 3. Much fewer problems than the Magic 3.

What are the probs with magic3? I certainly have none! If you go to psnewz you will find probs with M2! It turns out the original clock position is better than the newer one.

I personally think there is a big price fixing scam going on!

all chips have thier problems just some are worse than others

YEAH.... And it always happens to be that the Magic's are worse than the Messiah's...... :D

Tell us ur personal experiences bg cos I have none m8 - or is it just hearsay?

Hey you mention there's some problem woth messiah 2...but i been using it.. but not a single problem occur...but i like to see the site you mention "psnewz' where the urls?

Mostly from what i've read on other forums.. I have never personally owned one.... I'm like you except I have the Messiah and have never had any problems with it....

I have read about some people having modded a ps2 with the Magic 2 (and in one case the Magic 3) and some games wouldn't boot, they took out the Magic 2/3, installed the Messiah 2, and the same games worked perfectly....
May just be a fluke... May not....No idea.....

You raise an interesting point, Craig.

In the two weeks since Messiah 2 launch, I reckon that more than 20,000 units have been ordered and re-sellers are buying n the 1000's (not everyone, of course).

I don't sense that Magic 3 is bought by resellers in the 1000s.

If that's true, what does that do to the point (as yet unexplained) that you are making?
